  • While I have tested the beaded wristlets to hold the weight of an iPhone 14, it is NOT recommended to carry your phone solely from the wristlet. It adds a layer of safety in a pinch, but it is intended to be used as decorative.

All wristlets come with a small plastic insert that you can put in the back of your phone case if your current case does not have a place to attach it. As it is free with your wristlet, it is not a high-quality piece, I recommend purchasing a higher quality one! Details here.

  • Wool items: handwash inside-out in cold water with a wool-friendly detergent and lay flat to dry. Avoid using a dryer, as heat can cause shrinkage. With time + wear, you may see some pilling, use a sweater comb to keep your knit looking fresh!

IMPORTANT NOTE: it is highly recommended to wash items on their own the first few times, in case of any color bleeding. This is the nature of hand dyed color.

  • For me, one of the most important aspects of making hand knit pieces is using fiber that is responsibly and sustainably sourced. Currently I use malabrigo yarn.

malabrigo yarn company is family-owned and operated out of Uruguay and Peru. The yarn used in my pieces is 100% Uruguayan Merino wool and is hand dyed OR naturally dyed by me. The wool is produced by Uruguayan farms that allow their free-range sheep through the hills and are herded by actual old-style shepherds. The controversial practice of mulesing does not exist in Uruguay. malabrigo is the proud owner of a flock of Merino and Corriedale sheep, who live on a ranch near Montevideo. The Uruguayan wool industry has committed itself to achieving the highest standards of sheep husbandry. For more information about malabrigo yarn, visit here: malabrigoyarn.com

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the nature of hand dying, there will be some variation in color within my hand knitted pieces. I believe this adds to the subtle beauty of the fiber.
